News August 22nd 2005: Band perform at Farmleigh House
Yesterday afternoon the band gave a very enjoyable concert to a large crowd who
braved the rain and wind at the Stately home of Farmleigh House. The rain didn't
manage to put a dampner on the music and the crowd were treated to a great mix
of the band's best tunes, Abba's "Money Money Money" and a selection of Strauss's
hits proving the most popular.
The concert marks an end to the band's organised summer programme but you can
still book the band if you wish for any occassion by visiting the 'Contact Us'
section. The band will shortly begin rehearsals for the Christmas season of concerts,
introducing some new pieces into their popular Christmas repetoire, which includes
solemn religious hymns and rosuing carols and songs such as "Rockin' Around the
