Feb 15th 2005: Band perform at Tsunami Benefit Concert
The National Basketball Arena played host to a fantastic evening of brass &
concert band music in aid of the Tsunami Disaster Appeal on Friday evening last.
Many concert & brass bands turned out to lend their support to the Asian Tsunami
Appeal. In addition to the Blanchardstown Brass Band, performences were heard
from the Stedfast Concert Band, the Rathfarnham Concert Band & the Tallaght
Youth Band to name but a few.
The National Basketball Arena was packed out by an audience enjoying the high
quality performances and over 5,000 Euro was raised for the appeal by the event.
Congratulations to all who took part in a memorable evening.
